Material

What is the jewelry made of?

The acrylic jewelry range is made of laser-cut acrylic, which is beautifully light, waterproof and durable. We combine this material with (gold-plated) stainless steel.

Stainless steel is generally well tolerated and very stable and easy to care for. Your skin won't turn green and the material won't darken.

Our brass jewelry is made from pure uncoated brass (if the material is different, it is stated in the product description) as well as various gemstones but also ceramic or plant core beads.

How do I handle acrylic?

Acrylic is wonderfully light, but as a glossy version it is slightly more sensitive to scratches than metal despite being very durable. Since we mainly use matt and mother-of-pearl colored material, small scratches are much less noticeable. Acrylic is also waterproof.

If there are traces of make-up, simply use a soft cloth to rub off, do not use alcohol and store your jewelry in direct sunlight, it will thank you :-)

How do I deal with brass jewelry? (We don't use this material anymore though!)

Brass acquires a patina over time but can be polished and cleaned fairly easily, for example with a polishing cloth or polishing paste or brass cleaner. You should avoid moisture, so it is better to take it off when showering and exercising and not apply body lotion to your jewelry.

Is your jewelry also available in silver?

Almost all acrylic designs and all hoop earrings are possible in silver.

If you only return part of your order, you will have to cover the costs yourself. So that nothing breaks, it's best to use the shipping material that your order arrived with (yay, recycling!)

Can I exchange my item?

It can always happen that you might like something else better - it's best to send us your return and tell us what you would like instead.

I received a defective or incorrect item

Oh no! Of course it shouldn't be like that! In this case, please contact us at hi@acutecolor.com and we will find a solution as quickly as possible.

Shipping and tracking

How can I track the status of my order?

The emails and tracking links are not always error-free. If you haven't received any emails, you can 1. look in your spam folder or 2. contact us.

When it has been sent, you will see a tracking link there. No tracking link means it has not yet been sent (foreign shipments are sent differently, you may not see a link here)

Can you gift wrap my order?

It's best to write a comment at check out and we'll make an extra effort :-)

Where can I pick up my order?

If you would like to pick up your order, you can do so at
Specify shipping option during the ordering process. In this case, you will usually receive an email after 2-3 days that your order is ready for pickup.
Please contact us to arrange an appointment with us so that someone is on site and you don't end up standing in front of a locked door. You can find us at Thedestr 2, 22767, Hamburg.

Adjustments

Do you also have other chain lengths?

We have 5cm extenders for the stainless steel chains, which you can get on request. Otherwise we mainly have 45 & 50cm long chains as these have been the most popular so far.

Can I get a single earring?

It happens that you lose an earring - it's best to send us a photo of your lonely earring and we'll see how we can create a second one.

I forgot something with my order

No problem, just send us an email. If we haven't shipped your order yet, we will simply change it according to your wishes.

Do you offer clips?

We are currently working on a solution for customers without pierced ears.
But unfortunately we haven't found an option that is satisfactory yet

Location

Do you have a shop or dealer?

There are currently no dealers with a large selection of our jewelry and we don't have our own shop, just our office/studio.

Can I come over sometime?

We would love to get to know you too! Unfortunately we don't have a showroom right now, just our workshop and office. If you order something, you are welcome to come by to pick it up and take a look at what is currently ready when you get the chance.

How can I pay for my order with you?

You can use ApplePay, GooglePay, PayPal, Buy Now,
Bank transfer (Giro), Visa and Mastercard payments.

Payment by invoice or Klarna is currently not possible.

I didn't receive the 10% code from the newsletter

Once you have entered and confirmed your email address, you will receive
